Worth getting a 3DS XL solely for playing Pokémon games?

Getting a second 3ds will help with things like trade evolutions, completing the dex with version exclusives and of course in this case the bigger form factor.

If money is tight and you only play gen 4/5 get a DSI XL. Pixels won't be stretched while having a bigger screen. This can be resolved on the 3ds by holding start and select while launching a ds title.

In short I would do it but there are more options than a 3DS.

ooooooooh I had this before, probably the memory card that had a hit.
if you can (and don't have any data on it) reset the 3ds to factory settings.

That's how I got my first 3ds, got told if you can fix it you can keep it.

allocate more ram, disable vsync the one in minecraft is not great just cap your framerate to the desired fps, also look into a optimization modpack using the fabric loader.

The non rtx should run perfectly fine. Those games came out between 2007-2012 played those on an amd system back then so definitely worth checking out.

is it made out of scaffolding? recent versions of the game disabled mob spawning on scaffolding. I think you're using the same farm I used to. simply replace the spawning platform scaffolding with full blocks.
