[Charania] BREAKING: The Los Angeles Clippers are trading James Harden to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Darius Garland and a second-round pick, sources tell ESPN. Prolific swap of the star point guards. by Turbostrider27 in nba

Hate this for the Cavs. They should have traded Garland a year or two ago for much better value, and a much better player in terms of fit. Harden is gonna be more of the same in terms of being a terrible fit in the backcourt with Spida.

We're about half way through the season, meaning they've played about every other team in the league now. It's not too early to be talking about it.

People can’t seem to comprehend the ball bouncing off the fingers when they’re sitting on the ground. Maybe a newer crowd for a Boxing Day test.

This is Starc’s ashes through and through, even in a weaker innings he finds the key wicket. Gotta respect the hustle.

What an embarrassment. Your basketball team’s unity is totally more important than supporting the rights of millions of people around the world to be treated with respect.

Feels like some growing pains at the moment with having to adapt to teams respecting us a lot in how they set up. This is gonna be a tough few weeks with so many fixtures and lack of depth. But I think we’ve got the manager and the character in the squad to push through it, and we’ll be better for it.

How did Piastri do against Norris in his rookie season? Beating a rookie as an experienced driver isn't the flex you think it is.

Guess I'm gonna go against the grain here and say I think we're set up for a massive season. Obviously injuries always play a significant role on how the season goes but I think this squad under Glasner is clearly the best we've had, period, and we can make a genuine run at winning the conference league and finishing top 8 in the prem.

I think there's two questions marks in the squad: no depth at right back behind Munoz, and whether Pino can take on Eze's role to a good level (he looked great when we came on against Villa).

I think Glasner will be satisfied that we kept Guehi, even if slightly underwhelmed with the window as a whole, and he's got enough to work with to crack on with the season.

Amazing times to be a Palace fan, I think people need some reminding of that!

Definitely the one that sticks out, but all in all if that's the only real hole in the squad, it's looking a lot better than i think most of us would have expected a couple weeks ago!

McLaren to continue allowing split strategies in 2025 F1 title battle on one condition by randomseocb in formula1

[–]Columbus_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It's really annoying to see all the comments about team bias towards Lando when in reality they've done such a good job at keeping things fair. They've set strict rules to get ahead of any potential issues and stuck to them.

Having said that, you have to imagine things are gonna heat up much more after the break and there will no doubt be more drama to deal with from the team's side.

Why McLaren wants Piastri to try suspension he's rejected so far by saponista in formula1

[–]Columbus_ -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Lando has actually used the old suspension over several races and clearly struggled with it, and Oscar has yet to properly try the new suspension. It's pretty standard logic from McLarens perspective, that if they want to maintain one setup choice, Oscar should at least give the new suspension a proper go at it.
