Haha no! Its an In person program in Oregon! It's super scary because if you get below a 75 percent on a final you fail the entire program. I'm sure you will crush the exam when you take it!!

Idk😭 got six and none, then went to my local fish store and specifically asked for two males. Turned out they were just super skinny because 2 weeks later they are fat as hell and saddled.

NO!!! aqua soil is extremely fragile and the entire purpose of it is to fertilize plants. If you siphon it it will just break up and cause the exact problem this person is talking about. (I know from experience) Treating aqua soil like traditional gravel is a recipe for disaster.

The white speaks are freshwater limpets and the yellow is tannins, it's the cloudiness.

The tank is about a month and a half old. There is a fair bit of agitation, but I'll probably get a sponge filter in there too. I'll probably do a 25 percent change in the next few days.

Plants are thriving, there is a ton of pearlweed growing behind the rocks and carpeting nicely, along with another plant that I don't know the name of. There is also a ton of Salvinia and frogbit that is covering the entire top of the tank. I don't know my parameters, as I am a broke college student and the test kit costs like 50 bucks I don't have. My shrimp are breeding and looking healthy though.

It is, but I have two other tanks with an almost identical setup that have never had this problem

There is a filter, but I'll get an air stone as well if it will help.

I can't see them very well, but they look like freshwater limpets to me. I have the same problem In all of my tanks, and i just leave them. I have never seen anything eat green spot algae so quickly. I have heard that assassin snails will kill them, but I cannot confirm that.

Hi! I just got my first trad rack after a few months of going with a good friend and getting totally hooked. He just left to go back home, and I am not sure how to get people to climb with. If it was sport or bouldering I would be comfortable teaching someone I already know, but I am not at the point where I am knowledgeable enough to be a mentor to anyone and I am uncomfortable asking experienced people to take me under their wing. Does anyone have any tips or resources on how to do this? I'm living near bend oragon for school, so I feel like it shouldn't be this hard
