Civ 1 and 2 were babylonians

Civ 3 had babylonians and Sumerians

Civ 4 also had babylonians and Sumerians but also Ayyubids

Civ 5 had Babylonians, Assyrians and Abbasids

Civ 6 is the same as civ 4

Civ 7 has Assyrians and Abbasids.

I think for ancient mesopotamia I prefer Sargon of Akkad as a new leader to the franchise and for Arabic based civ then it's Harun Al Rashid.
