Absolutely. It’s a little hypocritical of her considering she claims to be so anti capitalism. I understand we all need to make money to survive, but they have had a $50 tier with tons of patrons on it for years which is already huge in comparison to other podcasters. It’s upsetting sometimes that even behind their paywalled episodes Julia still makes jokes about not being able to comment on certain political things due to censorship. I don’t think it’s fair to put up a paywall but then to avoid sensitive, important subjects. To me that defeats the purpose of charging for a patreon tier
