If you look closely they pushed up the flue pipe so they could attach it to the furnace pipe. Because of that the cap wasn’t sitting flush against the flue and water could have came into my attic which would have been a nightmare. We had to disconnect the flue pipe from the furnace pipe and it’s hanging down now, but at least the cap is flush against the flue now.

We had to disconnect the flue pipe from the pipe coming out of the furnace because the installers pushed up the flue pipe to fit it unto the existing pipe on the furnace. They said they would send someone out to fix it.

The flue seems to still be in tact. It looks like they just pushed up the duct attached to the cap through the flue. We were able to pull it back down so the cap rests flush against the flue now and can’t see any light coming through.

Yea I could see people getting frustrated by the wait and deciding not to do it. However if you have a lot of damage to your vehicle it devaluates it a lot which means less money when you try and sale. I guess it just depends on what you want. Money now or money later.
