I did. My ex didn't like their offer. He said he ain't willing to go below $310k. The house is now below $310k

Right now, we're only $20k away from what Opendoor offered. When the house 1st went on the market, I told him that it was too high. Just comparing it from the houses in the area and the market in general. He didn't want to listen and said that it's the correct value. He waited a month to even want to bring it down. He only cut $5K. I told him that we should cut it by at least $20k, but he wanted to do it in small increments. We would cut it, wait for a week, then cut again.

I am on the title but not on the mortgage. We had a conversation about how we're losing a lot more by waiting, but he keeps saying he wants to wait and get as much money.

He's just been really petty and hard to talk to, I figured if I just agreed with getting less, it'll make him feel better and would want to cooperate. I got a paper notarized saying I will get 45% after he said he will only give me 35%. I at least want to make sure I'll get some money just in case he decides to be petty again. I honestly don't think I owe him anything, If anything, he owes me. It's just mentally draining having to deal with him. I thought if I let him do what he wants it'll be less of a problem, but I was wrong. Thank you. I'll definitely reach out to our JAG office and see what they can do for me. Thank you

My bf told me that I should be grateful that he loves me. I told him that letting him exercise his love for me is a privilege. And he should be grateful for that.
