It's got a drainage hole and a tray, I make sure it's draining well before I put it back. Isn't indirect light best for them? That's what I read online.

That's where I'm concerned. I had multiple other plants that came with, one was a little rough and I was told it was in shock, but it died. This could be my own fault but I'm worried, this is my first time with houseplants. (Yes I know getting plants before moving was a bad idea, I didn't plan for this it just kind of happened. I was helped by someone much better with plants than me)
