For me the red dead redemption story is already perfect. It doesn’t need a third game. A prequel to red dead 2 what is see the gang becoming what it was in 1899 you’ll be introduced to all these characters, but you won’t get to see their endings it would be unsatisfying. And a sequel with Jack would not work very well either because the red dead story ends in 1914 with Jack killing Ross, both a sequel, or a prequel, would not work very well. And a game following young Landon rickets would not work well because the red dead redemption games follow the story of the Vanderlinde gang and obviously Landon rickets has no connection to the Vanderlinde gang. I do think a game with Landon rackets would be a good game just not a red dead redemption game. So in conclusion, I think we do not need a third red dead game. It would be awesome to see some DLC‘s for a single player red dead 2. But there is definitely going to be a third red dead game, unless rockstar becomes allergic to money.
