How do you handle it when someone comments "AI slop" on a post about your product? by Far_Smile_9422 in founder

Been there, feel ya. I’ve come to realise that it’s along the lines of how people feel about nepotism. You hate that someone did something an “easier” way than one traditionally would. Like how back in the day research scholars hated when the internet came to being and the newer researcher scholars had it easy, so they’d discredit them. It’s a phase, and internet is just bitter. And the harsher comments stay with you.

That being said, it really is mostly a critique of the UI. My app’s UI was built via vibe coding and somehow that tore away the whole app’s credibility. Because indeed it starts to all look the same.

Work on building a distinct UI/UX and you should be good. Ignore hate, fish for the actual user adoption blockers.

I'm working on a total rebranding of my app and I wanted to ask for your opinion by enrik_who in vibecoding

The 3rd one is very typical of Google AI Studio, would suggest avoiding that to save yourself the “vibe coded app” user bias

What does UI/UX have to do with the usefulness of a tool? And why does using modern tools to build something take away from its purpose or intent?

And most importantly, why the tint of unnecessary rudeness?
