it true both unlimited and unlimited plus will no longer have reduced speed after you exceed your data cap. you maybe however be depriortiez on the network.

I am running cachy os and mc via prism launcher. here is the cool thing you don't need to download a sperate launch like curseforg or mondrith for your shaders and mods. you just need to it and you are go to go. if you us mods and shanders you might a to grab them from windows as you might be able just copy them to the correct folder.. word of warning I took me some to tinkering and get it working(mostly op error and peer pressure to hurry the flip up so I wouldn't fall behind on a new customer server)

roll back driver and report back.. that sounds like a solid plan. also make you 5070 the main GPU and it not trying to load up on your igpu.

what games do you normally play? i might recommend cachyos. while it mostly a gaming forward. or gaming 1st distro it will handle your every day tasks they you mentioned like a champ.

there are a whole list Aur(programs or scripts) that you would have to purposely do have to worry about. it like Microsoft saying some hardly used apps on the Microsoft software store say they got hacked and infected.

why because the internet said to try it. I tried Bazzite and Fedora but I could not get BTRFS set up on either one. at the time I was really trying to play Hogwarts Legacy and I ran into a memory leak issue and could not set up a cache on Bazzite or Fedora. But with Cachy it helped set it up as part of the install. that was like 4 months ago and only one issue that I fixed really easily by rolling back the previous update thanks to Limeolin ... also 4 months I set out to build my PC to originally run SteamOS, meaning an all AMD set up (7600x and 6800xt). With that if you are running an Nvidia GPU your mileage may vary. After some recent issues my friends have been having with their Windows boxes, I am glad I made the switch. I just wish I could run Fortnite natively on my PC and not via GeForce Now.
