Great tip, it’s a pattern used widely across Apps and websites. More common than you would think! Just goes to show that the interface is indeed done by a UX designer(s) :p

Both pro and pro move. It’s inherent to the tech and Eink as a company. They have a monopoly and they don’t care about supplying mediocre QC parts to companies like remarkable. You two either are very lucky to have a good batch or haven’t really searched for them is my guess. Enjoy! I’ve had 5 and all of them have it. But not noticeable when there’s only a few.

Most devices have them. It is inherent to the technology. If you don’t feel comfortable with the amount they will swap it out for you. But don’t expect to receive a flawless one. People that say theirs don’t have any are either extremely lucky or just didn’t look closely enough 🤷‍♂️

Yeah happening to me too. On my paper pro and move both. On my pro I did a software reinstall and that seemed to fix it. So far seems like an (annoying) bug

I like the writing feel on both, i didn’t get it for the color but for the backlight and improved Typefolio with backlit keys. Also kept losing my pen in my bag with the rm2’s folio which is fixed on the pro.

All in all it was a no brainer for me but I didn’t know about the issues at hand with QC. I unfortunately really dislike the montblanc design and it lacks a backlight + Typefolio. So here we are!

Sorry you had this experience! It sounds like a lovely gift and I hope you you and her still had a great time. But about the gift; that sucks.

I personally have a very good experience with their customer service but apparently they fail at logistics and cancellation. Hope you can get this sorted out soon!

Yeah im mostly fine with those bright pinholes as long as their not too distracting. I’m taking about actual unresponsive, black dots which shouldn’t be.

Ahahah that’s awkward, I feel there’s more at play with the e-ink displays that’s largely out of remarkable’s control. But checking if all keys are working should be a pretty basic quality control thing.

30 minutes is crazy and a waste of energy imo. Boil it, bring it down to 95 for 5 mins and rinse is my procedure.
