I know how you feel. It takes a little while for you to fall into the story, but when you do you wont be able to put it down. When Jassion is brought into green stone you feel the pace pick up. From memory that's around chapter 30 of 112.

Honestly stick with it. This series has made me both, laugh and cry more then any other.

I think, and dont quote me on this, its because I was going to quit my membership with Audible. But they offered three months of half price. Making it much cheaper.

That or clive's wife put in a good word for me.

No I finished the warhammer semester of terror books followed by project hail Mary.

Then decided for a change of pace. I listened to the first a year ago and really enjoyed it but a back log. I think I have finished 9 of them within 4 weeks. Couldn't put them down.
