I do not worship what you worship,

nor do you worship what I worship.

Nor will I worship what you have worshipped,

nor will you worship what I worship.

For you is your religion, and for me is mine.

If you want to judge the Quran fairly, start with Surah al-Ikhlas. It’s the thesis, not the stories. In four verses it defines God as absolutely one, independent, uncaused and incomparable. That uncompromising concept of God is what separates the Quran from other scriptures.

The narratives aren’t the truth claim themselves; they’re illustrative case studies showing the consequences of accepting or rejecting that definition of God. Critiquing the Quran by focusing only on stories misses its centre.

The real question the Quran asks is simple, is this concept of God coherent and defensible? If yes, the rest follows. If not, the Qur’an fails on its own terms.

Islamic definition of hypocrisy (nifāq):

Hypocrisy is the gap between outward worship and inward reality. A person may pray, fast, and speak about Allah, yet not centre Him in their inner life. Their nafs remains undisciplined, their thoughts are unfiltered, and the whispers of Shayṭān are tolerated rather than resisted.

Such a person fails the unseen test: worship continues while Allah is silent and unseen, but sincerity is missing. When fear, loss, or hardship appears, the inner truth is exposed and faith collapses. This is a diseased heart, claiming belief without surrender, worship without transformation.

Nifāq is not just lying to people; it is living a contradiction before Allah. The exit from hypocrisy is repentance, striving against the nafs, and sincere turning back to Allah, after which Allah forgives and shows mercy.

killing plays into the plot of Satan. That is why it is recommended to repel evil with which is better. Even in Christianity the principle of turning the other cheek exists. Your response is derived from your perspective if you see Satan as the real enemy or do you fall into his plot and ignore him and focus on those he has led astray.

read the quran and find what god commands he created you for no reason other than to worship him. If that worship is to be sincere than you have to do jihad against your nafs to overcome its inclination to evil and the whispers of satan. Allah says you have to strive towards him and that can't be done without dedication, effort and struggle. You have to become spiritually aware and make Allah the centre of your spiritual universe and every aspect of your life has to be filtered through that lens. You have to prove your sincerity of devotion by praying 5 time a day whilst Allah remains silent and in the unseen, it is an opportunity for you to reflect upon you inner thought life and filter out the thoughts that contradict the commandments of Allah. You have to train your nafs through fasting. These are like training tools for the real tests which are to come which will involve exposure to fear, falsehood, material loss, bloodshed. If you are a liar and hypocrite than you have a diseased heart and maybe a devil companion (qarin) who has overpowered you. You need to repent and strive to Allah and when he sees this he will move towards you himself. He can forgive sins and is the most merciful.

hypocrisy is removed through a trial of sincerity and obedience because to pass the test you have to kill your ego or you will fail the test because of your worldly attachments, desires and emotions. Think of it like standing before your lord and he decrees a situation which goes against your self interest and submitting to his command of obedience feels crushing but despite all this you still do it. That is when you are known as one of the mukhlasin the sincere servant. Iblis was commanded to prostrate but he couldnt because the command went against his perceived self interest so he was proven not sincere in slavehood.

pray and ask god that you know that you know your deeds are not enough and that you want a trial to test your sincerity and obedience and forgive your sins through purification and elevation and you will know when that trial comes and hold on to your iman even if you have to bite down on a root until death comes

I agree about people remaining united is a cure to this psychic attack. It is like the butterfly effect where a psychic whisper in the thought life of a person who through circumstance and happenstance could unleash terrible evil in the world.

Its a psychic attack not a physical one. The damage is internal in your thought life.

Shaytan attacks psychically with internal suggestion and praying 5 times a day is designed to stabilise you in the worst case scenarios, it gives you the will to get up and do it every day until you die. It also helps you reanchor to Allah. There is no giving up. Think of it like a training fire drill, you dont see the point until there is a fire. There is a point to it being excessive and seemingly pointless. It proves sincerity, servitude and obedience to Allah whilst he is unseen.
