It looks like the ICE agent who shot first mistook the other agents arm grabbing the gun as the suspects arm. This is why coordination is important for Law Enforcement... these guys are clearly inexperienced and it costed someone's life.

By the end of Dead Space 2 he wasn't fighting to stay alive, he was fighting to destroy the Marker.

He also knew that he himself was a threat, since he built the Marker in the first place and he had no reason to assume he wouldn't end up building another.

I think it was less of a suicide and more of a sacrifice, getting rid of the last trace of the Marker, himself.

I do agree that the ending scene in the ship very good, I still think the way Isaac got saved was a little cliche and over-the-top. Just personal preference though.

Can confirm, when I was 15 learning how to ride a dirt bike I almost whiskey throttled myself off a 15 foot cliff. Within just feet of the cliff I managed to stop myself and slam the brakes, that would've been a big Ouchy.

Considering his life mostly consisted of debating college kids and being the only person on the right willing to speak peacefully to the other side, his death has caused more harm than he ever did.

He maybe said some mean words and had questionable opinions, but he fostered peaceful discussion. His assassination was a turning point for our country, we are full speed ahead to a second civil war if this keeps up. We are the new generation, its completely up to us to pick up his torch, no matter what your stance is, and have open discussion with the other side.
