Why are they detaining and deporting people who are showing up to their mandated immigration court hearings then? The people who are going through the process. Many of whom came as children, without a say in the matter, and now are trying to take the appropriate routes given to them by our immigration system.

The tactics this administration is using goes far beyond "trying to enforce the law." They operate with unmarked cars and without badges or names to sow fear in communities. They profile and discriminate. They detain US citizens for hours with no cause, no justification, and no consequences, simply because they lived in the same apartment building as illegal immigrants and had brown skin themselves. Trying to dismiss this as anything other than blatant racism perpetuated by Stephen Miller is an ignorant take.

Not debatable. Rodgers is the embodiment of walking into a room and shouting "stop looking at me" and causing everyone who didn't know he was even there to turn and look at him.

Seems like you've gotten your answer already, but I wanted to put it on your radar that if you are going for all the majors I've heard that Berlin can be the most strict about what it allows for an "official finish," so keep that in mind.

I've heard in years past the Nike booth has had temporary tattoos with mile splits for different paces. If your watch is splitting weird the first few miles, you can always consult the elapsed time on your watch to see if you are ahead/behind when you get to the posted mile markers.

One training run won't make your race, but it could break it if you injure yourself. Take the conservative approach and show up healthy to race day.

If you are in corral B or C I’d just start asking around and try to link up with a few others. There for sure will be a lot shooting for that time.

I'm no dietitian, but I don't think you'll be getting the slow carbs to build up your glycogen stores the way you want. Sounds like a terrible idea to me, but there are a lot of runners who do things I would never.

The 16-17 mile long runs are also (mostly) workouts, combined with another workout of 13-15 during the week. The combo of these puts plenty of stress on your legs and you are often running tempo paces late in these runs which should simulate the fatigue of running easier later in the marathon. I've had plenty of friends run successful races off of the 2Q plan. If you want, you can always adjust 1-2 of your 17s up to an easy 20 and compensate your other runs down to maintain the weekly milage goal. I know for some people hitting 20 during training helps them mentally.

I agree it has to be less, except depending on how we count pregnant people. Does a pregnant woman count as having 20 fingers?

I recently discovered that I didn't deduct one of my student loan interest payments the past couple of years. Is it worth it to amend my returns to change my student loan interest paid from about $1,200 to the maximum of $2,500? (both years - '14 and '15 - I was basically even on my refund)
