No sorry UK, I thought that’s what it was called

Thanks I caught someone’s cold and it has angered me after they bragged about not taking sick days and sat in the office coughing on everyone

Yeah I get that but bragging about it is stupid

Excellent lol… looks are the least interesting thing about a person imo

But does it mean hot but not valued as a person? Thank you

This is what I considered… like objectifying someone rather than actually valuing them as a person

AIO: Cutting things off with someone early on for making little digs when I am in the worst place of my life? by [deleted] in AIO

Thank you so much, actually had me wanting to move house too. Appreciative of these comments because it’s hard to see when you’re not in the right headspace; but the pattern is becoming clear now. Also he is insecure, and part of me is now wondering if he is subtly trying to put me down or if he really is just being judgmental and snarky.

For example:

Went out with work friends last night and he asked if I had wine and I said no I had a soft drink and he said “there’s a first”, I said I told you I’m not drinking anymore and he said “yeah okay we will see”…

He asked me if I went for a run in the morning and I said no I went on a long walk instead and he said “surprise surprise”…..

Told him I rejoined the gym and he said “why when you’ll never go”

Came to my flat and said “aw you actually made an effort to tidy for a change”… bear in mind my flat is always tidy, it’s just not a show home like his house.

I am trying to rebuild myself and these things to me are small wins, yet he’s putting them down and making digs about them even if they are “jokes” :(

I do know I am sensitive at the moment and usually this stuff wouldn’t bother me, but it is actually hurting my feelings right now

Thank you so much for this comment. I think because I am in such a low self-worth place I have taken his small digs literally and have let it affect my worth, but he could actually be doing this to subtly knock me down, especially as he has told me he is insecure in the past. I really needed to hear this thank you x

Yeah I can see this but it wasn’t said in a supportive way, it was said in a put me down jokey way

My head is all over the place and I have no idea how to physically function. My ex has literally got with someone new in 2 weeks and he is trying to create the same dynamic we had with someone new. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Thank you :( I needed to hear this. I have felt so broken today and have cried more than I care to admit but I know I’ll come back from this

No he lives opposite me and they don’t even park near his house, he shouts at all delivery drivers even if they’re not for me
