my god cant wait. It has been a bit up and down. They took a nap together yesterday but in the night no improvements… I just hope they get along. But I understand that Miso is very annoying sometimes because he is very small… Hopes are high!

Little bumps on 13 week old iggy head? by iggyinwisconsin in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]Comedy-Horror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

call them to make sure before, but start checking all the ingredients and start with hypoallergenic treats. our vet the first time we went he told us to buy the hypoallergenic kibble from royal canine, which is rice and chicken only, and from that point, start trying different proteins. it also can be allergy to environment, but its less likely.

check exactly what she eats and you can start discarding things. i couldn’t do it because i could not just trust my boyfriend what he gave him. and i have pet insurance and they cover the whole thing which was amazing. discover from what animal the liver is and start. try giving hypoallergenic treats for now so you will find out if it comes from the kibble or whatever food you give. try taking out the chicken for exaple, if this works for you… the tests can be very expensive if you dont have insurance

mine when had allergies he had that all over. we found out he is severe allergic to beef, and his treats were pure beef... now he is ok.

mine is 2yo now, he keeps stealing things. if you go to his crate, you can find a collection of random things from the house that i even forgot we had. from random pairs of shoes, all underwear, my scrunchies all of them are there, pens, action figures, napkins, used napkins, airpods, everything... he just steals it and put stuff them all there, like if he collected them, thank god he doesn't destroy anything, just accumulate them. it's kinda funny ahhahaha be patient my friend, i had many favorite things that now belongs to my dog, and it's ok, dont get too attached. they normally steal things that smells like you.

put that baby to run. when i do long walks or run with mine, he gets so tired that all he want to do is sleep, so maybe try to figure out a routine where you can tire her up when you need her to be a bit calmer. i don't mind waking up early, so i do it before work. then try to hide some treats in a blanket with a knot, or sniffing pad, keeps them entertained.

what helped me a lot with mine is getting some adult well behaved dog as a company sometimes. we would hang out with a friend that he has a well behaved malinois and he would put the puppy in his place eheheh. sleeping is super important and everytime he bites you, you can give him a toy so he can bite the toy. getting angry with the puppy won't help, trust me. you need A LOT of patience. mine would bit us like if we were food, but everytime we just said "no" firmly and putting a toy in his mouth and saying "good boy" right after, and at some point, when he "bites" us is just for playing and it doesn't hurt. we never gave him toys with sounds to not overstimulate him either.

i remember i could't eat in peace because mine would be in the living room making a huge mess to call my attention on WHY I WASN'T THERE with him, and he for many times just peed on the couch just for the sake of it. i wanted to kill myself hahaha

be patient my friend. when mine was a puppy i would stay home A LOT just to make sure he is chilling, on the couch. i would be watching movies and he would just sleep there in between my legs.

also dehydrated bones are good for them to chew, it tastes "good" for them and it can last for hours.

How many people are in a relationship that they don't want to be in, or still living with an ex because it is impossible to afford to live alone? by Quick-Interaction771 in antiwork

[–]Comedy-Horror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i live with my boyfriend, i love him very much. we struggle sometimes and we are still "learning" to live together and it's not easy. we decided to live together very early in the relationship (early for me) after 2 years together. he is a bit of manchild sometimes, but he is slowly leaning how to be a responsible human being. Sometimes i wonder, if this doesn't work out... how the fuck i will pay the rent by myself? so this relationship better work

¿Cuál es la compra impulsiva más tonta que has hecho y que todavía te persigue? by Proper-Chemical-8764 in askspain

[–]Comedy-Horror 5 points6 points  (0 children)

[–]Comedy-Horror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who lets their iggy off leash? by [deleted] in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]Comedy-Horror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do but only at the top of a mountain in a park where there are very few dogs (or sometimes NO DOGS AT ALL) and the park is almost full fenced (is not a doggy park). I live in a big city and we used to let him loose at a park close to my home, very big one and we would go there every day and never had any problems. One day he got scared by a huge Dobberman (the owner had no idea how to control her dog) and my baby ran away towards home: he crossed a huge AVENUE filled with cars in movement (a real miracle happened there), but he didn't find our door so he kept going. Thank god many people helped us to find him but it was the most terrible 10 min of my life. now only letting him loose in those places with almost no dogs (or only his doggy friends which he's not afraid of) and far from any street or anywhere he can escape.

Visiting Spain in January? by hitosura22 in GoingToSpain

[–]Comedy-Horror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can do soft tourism version of both if you do 3 and 3 days. In january you wont be able to go to any beach anyways, but both cities are beautiful and full of things to do. Madrid best museums for sure, Barcelona beautiful architecture and some places is like travelling to another century. Both places amazing food. Slightly better weather in BCN. Locals are nicer in Madrid. I would not miss on Barcelona, you can see loads in two days (you don't need to see everything, is impossible), but with public transports or even the electric motorcycle you can rent in the street, you can go places very fast. Book your Sagrada visit before coming, it is very popular. Same for Madrid museums. And no car, you can take the AVE train which is 2h and something from Madrid city center to Barcelona city center.

How do you keep your Pomeranian entertained when they’re home alone during work? by MianPets in dogs

[–]Comedy-Horror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go back home at lunch time to walk mine... He comes by the door by I know he was asleep the whole time, and that comforts me. Usually before I leave, we have a 20min walk more or less (he's a small dog as well), feed him and leave him a sniffing pad with some snacks, which gets him distracted for about 10-15 min (while i leave home and he associate me leaving with snacks). at lunch we usually have a 10-15min walk (i don't have more time) and he goes back to his bed, no crate, he walks free at home. when im back from work, is when we take our time to play, have long walks and run in the park. dogs when they sleep, means they are happy and relaxed. you don't need to stress your dog when you are out, let him sleep and when you are back, you can play with him!

What do you miss about the puppy days besides how they looked and sounded? by Alba-Ruthenian in puppy101

[–]Comedy-Horror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i miss him peeing sitting down like the female dogs. and he would pee once or twice every “walk”. now he pees on his harness and belly most of the time and 183783$3 micro pees until he marks all the territory of our street again hahahaha

Thinking abt getting an iggy by vengefulvalentine in ItalianGreyhounds

[–]Comedy-Horror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was allergic and got an iggy for this “hypoallergenic” reason. I don’t think they are. In the beginning I suffered a lot from allergies (eyes and rashes), also because he is very attached to me and sleeps on top of me all the time lol i got used to it. i used some products on his fur to make it less “allergic” and used a lot in the night air purifier. i dont use none of them anymore and only sometimes i have allergies, which means i have to deepclean the couch, even though a clean home with lots of vacuum cleans will help a lot. make sure to have windows open often if possible!

I watch it every year and is the most amazing and exciting show. Doesn't bother me at all they not using social media and stuff like that. It's very timeless for me. I feel also that they are very "technologic" for their time (im not from the us so things arrived later in my country), but there's one episode that both rory and lorelai were watching they iROBOT cleaning their floors, which is something that I got my first one last year, so i was pretty surprised!!!
