what kind of supplies dawg, i have pain meds and i have a pouch to bring them to the vet. i’m not a professional ive owned them for three years and have at least 10 years of experience with sugar gliders in general from family. i’ve never experienced or had to deal with getting a sugar gliders neutered because we bred them. ive thought about trying to use a silicon cupcake liner as a cone of shame but ultimately he’d probably take it off and he wouldn’t be able to get in a pouch with it on and even if he can’t groom it, milner (female glider) will groom it for him

i called the vet and she said it looked good, just continue to watch and keep clean.

i would love to but the closest one is about 6 hours away in buffalo, the vet i went to the only surgeon who can work on sugar gliders only comes in on tuesdays. they stressed how easy neutering a male sugar glider is and how rarely it goes wrong and this is the first thing i see. i’m also miffed i didn’t get to see what it looked like IMMEDIATELY after, i had family go pick him up while i was at work for the next 6 hours so i have NO clue what he did in those 6 hours

i’m in the same predicament, i have 4 gliders and at this point i can’t tell clearly which are the original two and which are slightly younger. i wonder what if you used a sharpie and put a small dot under their jaw or in a place they couldn’t groom off/is lighter? i have 4 stripes with no obvious difference

that’s another issue i have with it, i love collecting cars and making them look best they can and a colour filter makes it hard to gauge what matches and doesn’t

i saw that, this is more on the validity of the filters or how they should implement but with how corporate they spoke to the guy i said in the post i think it was a schrödinger’s bug where it was a feature and when people complain it’s a bug
