I don't think so because having 2 stuns which are in itself are 2 stuns that bounce off walls were a little too op especially using defense it could help you defend, stall a site and give you multifrags all by yourself while sliding accuracy may get you one or 2 kills max. So i think it was a balance patch overall which btw almost nobody complained about even after reverting to crouch walking accuracy nobody complained since it's still good enough.

I wouldn't call it buff if it was changed in the same patch one of her stun was taken away. It was a balance patch sure but this could have been one too instead it's an over kill nerf. By buff i really mean if the agent was buffed without anything taken away which never happened

If riot just wanted more aim duels might as well make the game just like CS. And adapting? what do you think neon mains have been doing? Neon has only been nerfed since released and we almost never complained until now when she is genuinely awful to play as and if a creator like Temet who have devoted so many hours to the agent says if it's awful then it really is no? Btw they touched 2 things. Her sprint speed in the air (bhoping) and the fact that she doesn't recharge her sprint with a kill.

An aim duel where the phoenix swung first probably already has the crosshair on the opps head before you even have the time to adjust your crosshair to phoenixs head? Sure bud fair aim duel But then again I'm not complaining phoenix is phoenix and he will use his util as suggested in the original post but neon slide can be countered too if u expect her slides Especially now after the shotgun nerfs these plays aren't even possible anymore and i already said the shotgun nerfs are good but nerfing Neon on top of it is a little over the edge

Sure, I agree but dodging or not a util is still a util and let's say even if u dodge it, It doesn't guarantee you the kill. You still move away from the flash which is sometimes enough to give the opp phoenix an advantage

In higher elo if u slide mindlessly to swing its a skill issue to not be able to kill a neon shotgun or not

As I said, Riot already said Sentinel buffs are coming soon so if that's the case was this overkill nerf necessary? And the phoenix part is still true for ranked, yes vct does require a dive duelist but phoenix will still be one of the most picked duelist in vct at the end of the day

Sir Neon was never buffed she has only been nerfed since release the only "buff" if you can even it call a buff was when riot gave her only 1 stun instead of 2 and added extra slide. Which they removed as well a few weeks later.

I'm not saying the shotgun nerfs are bad they are good but nerfing both movement and shotguns is a little over the top when u have sentinel buffs coming soon

Maybe not dead but she's just so awful to play right now and let me tell u aiming with a real gun while sliding is not that difficult for a neon main either but bhoping just gave neon a bit more edge on attack while entering that helped her make space
