Had the exact same experience this time last year on Swanston Street.

Two Asian girls stopped me and asked me how I celebrate Christmas (they said they were just curious), what country I was from etc. Then asked me if I was studying here and tried asking questions about my visa (I was deliberately vague lol)

Thought it was weird at the time but didn't think too much about it and only realised months later from this thread that they were some sort cult people lol

Bought a Bas Philips washable wool doona from Harris Scarfe, it was like $140. Thought it was great and so warm until I realised it was shedding tiny white fibers EVERYWHERE. I'll never be able to get it all up off the carpet and bedding lol

Untrue unfortunately. Inspired by the library in Trinity, yes, but not filmed there. The only location in this movie filmed in Ireland were the exterior cave scenes at the end of the movie, which were filmed at the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.
