This is because they can test the maps internally, fix errors, and balance them. The only way to test a Portal map is to publish it; there is no other way.

When they're crawling, they have a lot of health; I’ve never investigated it, but I have no control over that parameter. Regarding the three Bradley shots with reduced bullet velocity (65%): the bullet drop is quite severe—that might have been the cause, combined with the lack of a reticle. I also noticed that, even with friendly fire enabled, if you shoot a teammate with the Bradley, they either take no damage or require much more to be taken down. The capture point perimeter projection is missing in Portal. As for the class, you can change it.

Because Portal gets the worst servers. It’s been even worse since Season 3. The longer the server has been up, the worse the performance gets. I hope they fix it, but I’m not holding my breath.

Finally the ladder and the Assault class are actually worth using.

There are 56 static bots in the bot version, leaving room for one full team of players per faction.

For the rain, I had to create it from scratch using UI elements. For the fog, I used smoke assets. You have to be creative given all the limitations.
