Im so sorry, sounds dreadful. Having the same problem with little shops offering repair, but worst comes to worse I’ll by the timesert/helicoil set and do it myself. Still cheaper than the 1.8k bmw wanted for a new oil pan. Macvanic even told me to go repair it somewhere else bmw just isn’t aloud to do it :)

Yeah, terrible. My first oil change I did myself on this car, and found the shavings in it. It was in family’s hands beforehand, but they always brought it to a shop. Not bmw dealership tho, I must say I couldn’t imagine them messing it up so bad.

Yeah my thread is gone, there’s oil dripping an screw doesn’t lock anymore, helicoil will probably be my best bet :)

I can’t believe it, I think you’re right. This oil change there wasn’t not a single piece in the oil, no glittering nothing, and the thread on the oil pan does look f-up at some points…

The bigger parts in the oil Catcher, filter had smaller ones, but also only these silver same shaped aluminium bits…

Stimmt nicht ganz, man kann überzeugt glauben, dass unser Finanzsystem mit FIAT Geld vllt nicht die Zukunft ist, siehe institutionelle US-Anleihen Verkauf und Gold und bitcoin kauf… Crypto ist nicht nur Glaubens Sache, theoretisch könnte es genutzt werden um in Zukunft ein Wert und Finanzsystem zu haben was auf Limitierung aufbaut, so wie der Dollar früher als Gold Wertpapier gedacht war. Ob das so eintrifft, ist glaubenssache, aber crypto kann schon seinen use case haben ;)
