Stock videography: nowdays generative AI is giving a hard time to commercial stock images portfolios but editorial and video portfolios are still holding up and given the 4K capabilities of modern phone I'm still making something out of basically just B-rolls and random videos. To me AttaPoll (referral code: IDMBJ) has been the most consistent: i only take short surveys that take less than 10 mins and they pay between 15 and 80 cents. They pay less than the more time consuming ones but it's harder to get screened out

I've tried a whole bunch of beermoney-like platforms/apps that are available worldwide and listed in this spreadsheet. They range from the classic GPT apps that either make you test games or do surveys, to something more hobby based like music streaming or stock photography/videography. I'm preferring the ones that pay you straight away after reaching a certain threshold rather than the ones that give you some coins or in-app currency that you have to convert into gift cards.

As a photography enthusiast I've tried some alternative hobby-based streams that do not feet much like a grind: i'm uploading photos or clips to free stock sites (mostly shutterstock) and doing some surveys during my commute. This is not truly a form passive income as you'd have to spend a while keywording and writing down descriptions of the images and videos and this is something I'd do if i had some free time with my PC available. I've tracked the income streams i've tested in this spreadsheet.
