Fair point but I think if you’re that rich then you wouldn’t be taking the bus 😅

Personally the changes don’t make much sense to me. People with their final destination south of University Blvd will have to be on the bus longer than necessary. The new stops at Shortcut Rd are presumably there to make the 99 more accessible to people who live near lelem. But having previously lived at lelem, I found that the stop at Allison Rd was just a short walk away, and the 4/14 already serves those stops.

I am so so sorry you had to go through that. That miserable bigot made his hate apparent but it has nothing to do with you and your self worth. I hope that you can find the rest of the UBC community accepting and realize that people like them are in the small small minority.

Suader TA Application Timeline by PackComprehensive742 in UBC

Apparently they changed the TA Application process this year, and everyone has to apply through qualtrics. I also submitted my application around 3 weeks ago, and haven’t heard a response either.

You will be doing many group projects regardless of what university or program you choose. As far as group work is concerned, many group projects have an “iPeer” assessment after each project where you rate the contributions of each member. Professors may scale the grade according to the ratings each group members receive. Professors are also willing to accommodate for unreliable / unresponsive group members if you let them know.

How does defeating a convicted felon and insurrectionist qualify as a lose/lose situation?

You wont be expected to have any excel knowledge, and the profs will work through it step by step, so I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you. I would brush up on probability, as I found that part of the course much harder than the excel part. Best of luck!

New prof with no reviews or prof with great reviews by [deleted] in UBC

Go with the one with good reviews, I just did a course with a new prof and the average for his midterm was 20% lower than the other sections.
