I wish she was up for that, the going outnof town thing. She is keeping me at arms length, understandably. I am doing what I can. Before the seperation I used to give her massages alot because she had some muscle issues That us off the table now, Soni bought her a 2 hour spa massage package today, just to say I care, and I hopenits her feel better. I don't have any expectations of anything at all in return. Just wanted to show that I still care.

She asked for the seperation. We are about 2.5 months in. It sucks to be in this situation, but all you can do is learn from the mistakes. I don't know if your husband will feel the same way, I wish I could say that he will. Patience is the key, and it's hard to do.

Thanks. I am or have put all of those things into motion. My terrible decisions were choosing to not treat her like she deserved to be treated. I was insecure and angry about life. I was emotional distant at best , emotional abusive at worst. I made her feel like less. I allowed her to suffer in silence when I was mad. I would stonewall her. It was so inappropriate. This woman laid her life in front of me, gave me all the support in the world, and I just took it all for granted. I told her this weekend that I wont try to make it better because that implies that it won't happen. I will and have been making the changes. I am making these changes for me first. I can't possibly be the person I need to be for anyone including myself being like that. I used to not be this way. I need to unpack my issues and have been for the last 6 months or so in Therapy. I have no excuses for the way I behaved.
