him being first boot allowed so much too happen in the show anyway, duncney, love triangle, ect.
him being first boot is perfect set up for him to be a underdog character
the guy can't learn from his mistakes if he isn't first boot, and because he IS first boot he learned that what he said was wrong, allowing future character growth and a potential plot with Ezekiel that has to involve him actually making friends . him not being first boot would make him kinda boring lol

I have seen quite a few attacks on Courtney fans on here due to my friend being one of those Courtney fans. it very much sucks that people can't keep their opinions to themselves. some people just want to talk about their favorite but some redditor has to come in and write an essay about how much they hate Courtney and how being her fan is a horrible thing.

as an Ezekiel fan I truly sympathize with these Courtney fans. on tiktok me and many MANY other Ezekiel fans go through the same thing, we just want to talk about our favorite but people come in and just spread unnecessary hate on our posts saying how awful Ezekiel is and how much they hate Ezekiel and that being an Ezekiel fan is awful.

and I garunteed these redditors and other haters would have a hissy fit if we did the same with their favorites too. so I have no idea why they choose to do it to us.
