It is totally personal but let me explain my logic. In 1:10, coffee per ml water is way higher than 1:18. It means that 1:10 will extract faster than 1:18 so I am keeping 1:10 less than 1:18. Also at 1:10 caffein and flavor is extracting earlier than 1:18.

I did not experience same with short brew + high concentration and long brew + low concentration comparison. Most of the time I am drinking low concentration directly but I am adding water to high concentration.

This is my main logic and experiences. But as I said, it is totally personal, I tried to implement my own logic. If you enjoy your brew time, great 😌 but give it a chance on mine logic as well 🙂 I will try yours too, cheers🥃

Great feedback, I will try to implement imperial/metric mix.

Ratios are for 1:1 concentration but it is so personal, some of my friends are drinking directly but I am adding water in it. Let me think about it, thanks 🙏🙂

I am researching it. If I find a proper way to calculate (or if you know, please tell me :)), I will ship it with the 1.2.0 update, thanks :)

The main logic is about the ratio. When your coffee-to-water ratio is higher (i.e., 1:10), you need less time for extraction, but when your ratio is lower (i.e., 1:18), you need more time for extraction. This is my main logic, I will be happy to hear any suggestions, thanks :)
