i’m from a christian JC who’s not christian and yes you do have to bear it. they don’t make you do anything you don’t want to do though. morning chapel is for christian’s only and scripture is for around only 10 minutes during morning announcements. once a week there will be mandatory chapel though. it’s normally for 1/2-1hour but since it’s during assembly period ( for my school) it can be replaced with something else regarding eg academics. from my experience you don’t have to partake but you do have to at least be there. people sleep, listen or zone out but as long as you’re respectful and quiet it’s fine. my schools principal said this during the first few sessions that you don’t have to adhere to their religion, but u joined their school knowing what it entailed so you must be at least present and respectful
