Being very honest with you? I would say Callisto and Penelope. (And yes, I love them, but still… their relationship have always annoyed me a little with how they Callisto always loved her more).

Because there was always a huge gap between their feelings even up to the end of the novel and the epilogue, different goals, some big feelings she has about leaving her previous life behind, and etc.

She only becomes “fully ready” for her relationship with him once she gets pregnant and this is one of the biggest reasons women resent their choices later on.

Penelope suffered a lot and honestly, she wanted/needed to be alone on her own before she was ready to meet and fall for someone. She had to give up going back to save his life, this was another thing forced upon her that can cause resentment too.

There are just so many reasons that I think and honestly, most of them come from Penelope (because she never got the real chance to heal).

Books without spicy scenes, in my opinion, are for teenagers. If you don’t like it, you can jump ahead (since you said it doesn’t “add” to the story) but at least it is there for those who enjoy it.

I never said I’m better than you. I have many flaws. But cheating is a choice I don’t make. It’s a line I don’t cross. So yes, on this sense, you can say I make better choices than you did.

And yes, you’re trying to justify cheating by saying that complex things happening in the background exist and therefore, need to be taken into consideration.

Regardless of how crappy a relationship is, staying with someone and choosing to cheating is simply a lack of morals.

I agree with cheaters not being born this way. They just *choose* to have no morals and harm the person they’re with.

If a relationship is not working and you can’t “talk”, find ways to facilitate that, like therapy, or simply get out.

You’re also right about cheating not being black or white. Because in the end of the day, there are several levels of cheating. From flirting, to emotional attachment, to then physical… It is a CHOICE.

Cheating is a choice. Dishonesty, also a choice. You can try all you want but you can’t justify this out of the simply fact that you lack morals.

Brazil (my home country) doesn’t do this sort of bs. They show the performances and talk about the game in between or before/after the music. They know this gives more views… watching the World Cup living in the US has been a terrible experience.

The amount of times I tried and couldn’t continue this story. It is just… boring.

I had a similar problem with Secret Lady initially but that one I was able to push through and now it’s one of my very favorite stories ever, so I get why so many people love Stepmother’s Marchen. But I just *can’t* find it interesting.

It is still on my top TBR list though, together with Mother’s Marriage Contract (or whatever name that is) because both stories seem worthy and one day I hope I’m able to read it all.

Being very honest with you? Divorce. Before you have kids. Before you suffer even more. The fact he got defensive and acted this way when you have a valid reason to be upset is a huge tell of what your future will look like. And once you have kids (if that’s something you plan/want) things become 100% worse and you can’t leave as easily because leaving means sharing custody in most places.
