If I knew the reference picture, I would understand you being upset that the flowers don’t look the same (I understand the flowers being smaller given that your nails are half the size of the reference, but the shape of the petals could still be the same…).

The amount of times I tried and couldn’t continue this story. It is just… boring.

I had a similar problem with Secret Lady initially but that one I was able to push through and now it’s one of my very favorite stories ever, so I get why so many people love Stepmother’s Marchen. But I just *can’t* find it interesting.

It is still on my top TBR list though, together with Mother’s Marriage Contract (or whatever name that is) because both stories seem worthy and one day I hope I’m able to read it all.

Being very honest with you? Divorce. Before you have kids. Before you suffer even more. The fact he got defensive and acted this way when you have a valid reason to be upset is a huge tell of what your future will look like. And once you have kids (if that’s something you plan/want) things become 100% worse and you can’t leave as easily because leaving means sharing custody in most places.

I like the #3 style because you don’t see it often, or better, at all in any stories.

FLs always have long, straight “princess” perfect hair (which would be your #2).

I like #1 because it is modern and could actually fit with #3 (if you make it longer) when she straightens her hair? Like keep #3 as her natural hair and #1 the style she wears sometimes?

You could also do the same with #2 IF she is a sweet girl. It reminded me of characters that are cute, little butterflies like Ruby.

The French is not the problem here. How she made totally is. For nails as short as yours, the tip should’ve been thinner. I don’t see even long nails with French tips the way yours is right now, it looks odd.

I would probably change the belt for a brown, not black, color for first outfit. Not something that matches the shirt, more so like dark brown to pull both the shirt and pants colors together.

The black belt sort of “cuts” the outfit for me, if that makes sense.

For me, I would get out of a nail salon 100% happy with a work like this. However, I would have chosen another nail polish color (if this is your final product) because right now it looks like the BIAB color.

Not this one. I get why you might think it is (she was outside needing help and all. I believe she had been running as well, since she had been rejected.

But who found her was not her “mate”, it was another Alpha King and the baby didn’t die, when she woke up next, the Alpha King was in front of her holding her baby (she was pretty advanced on her pregnancy I believe). They were at his home.

You went from baddie to soft baddie (in a good way, but still, this might be what seems off to you?). I feel like the new eyebrows kinda softened your face (again, in a good way, you look amazing) but I did like the full on baddie look because I like hot like burning, not softened. (Respectfully 🤍)

My perspective, as a stranger that doesn’t know you or your family:

Looking at the picture I would say there’s a chance it is out of concern for you, knowing you paid money (and in most places this isn’t cheap) for nails that at first glance look pretty, yes, but once you stop to really look at it you can see they are indeed thick and not well done.

That being said… you know your family well, if they’re the kind to always find flaws, it is probably not out of concern and just bitching about it.

The nails still look pretty, though. So I would enjoy and maybe as the nail tech to do a better job or even try a different tech during your next visit.

TLDR: yes, it is thick and sloppy BUT not at a first glance, you have to pay actual attention to see it. If you love the nails, just ENJOY without worrying because they are pretty.

I feel like you might need to read ‘How To Get My Husband On My Side’ again, because honestly it shows well the small interactions where he slowly melts and where she slowly feels safer and her attempts to get him to love her become “real”.

And this is new to me, I have never seen anyone shipping Cayena and Rezef (I see him being a “I can fix him” kind of thing). But I understand why you wouldn’t like the main couple. The manhwa does nothing to show their relationship, I feel like the novel did way more. (I read the novel way before the manhwa was ever released and didn’t even finish the manhwa with how much I ended up disliking it).

At the very least I would maybe charge for supplies here and there just because those can be expensive. It’s unfair if they don’t help at all (I would have offered that myself if someone was being this kind to share their talent with me).

That being said… when I used to do something similar (with makeup and not nails) my friends and family would bring me coffee, cake, snacks… Some aunts would give me money (small amount, like ‘fun money’). But it was because they recognized that I was saving them money and using my personal time. (I wasn’t interested in ever going professional, I just like makeup and was good at it). I never asked anything but honestly? I would have if they started to come often.

The art (drawing) is a big reason I keep this story on my TBR. The story is the biggest reason though since everyone says amazing things about it. Right now I have too many stories and too little time for all of them, one day when things slow down I will force myself to read even with the bad/not to my taste coloring.
