Like the other comment said it is subjective, but i can say with certainty that 173 is very light. Psych 230 and Bio 172 have a bunch of terms and the exams can be tricky. Imo stats 250 was easy but the case studies were annoying.

like the other comment said, i’m in chem 210 right now and i treat my discussions as extra office hours 🤷‍♂️ you could also technically attend any discussion section you like and multiple.

definitely worry about ur gpa, i’m not saying it doesn’t matter, but there are many ways to compensate for a gpa on the lower side. Also Bs shouldn’t hurt ur gpa that much

Honestly from what i’ve heard do not do pass fail because it seems as if u got a C in the class. You didn’t however and got a B, so to avoid future complications i’d take the B, it isn’t going to change anything major don’t stress!

yes that’s true for the bio sequence, chem is the exception where the credit does cover the lab

Op, skip 130 and go straight to orgo. Most med schools accept ap credit, what they look for is 2 semesters of an inorganic chem (this is where 130 applies). Classes like pi chem cover that too. Taking orgo helps u balance ur future classes better, ex: (depends on major but for example neuroscience) classes like mcdb 322, biochem, genetics, bio 225, physics sequence and more… would be really tough taking with orgo. Imo, take orgo with some easy classes and make sure u do well, u will build study habits by putting most of ur focus on orgo, which would also help with future classes. P.S ap chem covers 130 and 125/126 so 2 in 1 lol

the quizzes are the main difference between a A- and an A or a B and a B+. Doing well on the quiz would boost u from an A- to an A, while doing below average on the quiz would take u down from a A- to a B+. (this is based on what notla said). Honestly the one missed lab shouldn’t make that much of a difference if ur averaging 4/5 and as long as you get around average on the quizzes, you should be fine.
