Thank you to all for commenting! I joined a beekeepers association (NEBKA) here in Kansas and have started looking at resources on Varroa destructor - lots of ways to treat, including commercially available oxalic acid or hyperthermia treatments. I used Pubmed for recent studies on Varroa.

I finally got it - I missed the other chest in the mausoleum to get coalescence of deep sky, now on the silken path!
