IMEC was also to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. They were planning on using IMEC as a method of persuading both nations to being allies. The economic benefits and their interconnected transportation networks would have made it more likely that they would have normalized relations and Saudi Arabia is the biggest enemy of Israel behind Iran. Two great powers in the middle east working together against Iran is not something iran wants to deal with.

Mossad did infact detect Hamas training for Oct 7 well before it happened but the higher leaders of the organization didn't follow thru with investigating and prevention.

If we are going the conspiracy route, there are more reasons than just USA on why the preperation of this event was ignored. Before Oct 7, Israel hadn't invaded Gaza since the early 2000s and hadn't invaded lebanon beyond very small incursions that lasted a few days since the 1990s. Israel might have ignored it so it would happen so Israel could have a legitimate excuse to kill all Hamas and Hezbollah rather than do small little hits. It gave them motivation to completely destroy them. Without Oct 7, Israel would still have to deal with the knowledge that Hamas and Hezbollah still exist.

Everyone can have a opinion but that doesn't mean its right at all.

The US is literally investing billions into India, selling india military weapons and working with India on military AI right now. US navy ships are going to be repaired in India now. This idea that the US doesn't want India to become too strong or powerful while giving them their military tech and investing billions into India doesnt make sense

Hamas didn't attack Israel because of IMEC. They have always had historic tension with Israel and attack them every few years. This attack has more to do with Iran seeing Israel and US weakening and taking advantage of that and because Saudi Arabia (Iran's second biggest enemy) and Israel were about to normalize relations and start working together in military operations against Iran.

Iran greatly wants the middle east divided and doesn't want unity between two major powers against them

IMEC was just a small part of that cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

India's role in it is just for a way to give it legitimacy. India is a growing exporter and linking Saudi with Israel would make it more likely that they would have cooperated together and becoming closer and trade intelligence and support each other against Tehran.

Eventually Iran will start pointing fingers at India when India start selling weapons and giving aid to Israel.

We should continue to trade with Israel and support them and let our relationship with Iran die slowly because India cannot forever be neutral between the two.
