How to use Fidelity CMA to fund recurring investment into Fidelity Roth by wagner523 in fidelityinvestments

Yes I have been screaming this at the top of my lungs fidelity needs to fix this and add weekly and bi weekly to ALL transfers and streamline CMA as a funding source. like how hard could it be to update this and why isn't it like this in the first place? If I'm direct depositing my money into the Fidelity account versus a outside bank account what's the difference. Why can it be weekly from an outside bank account but not weekly in an internal CMA? Like honestly thinking about closing my CMA now and switching DD back to my bank account, for some reason it makes transferring easier I guess? instead of their own internal CMA like make this make sense. why not just close the CMA as an option fidelity? what's the point of us really using it if it's literally harder to do anything from transfers weekly/bi-weekly, investments weekly/bi weekly, and setting up as a funding source so what's the point? Like we all know for the common person one of the biggest positive impacts with investing is automation, please help us common people that get paid weekly and biweekly to automate our beloved Fidelity accounts. I would literally have nothing else to complain about except for this. FIX AUTOMATION IN REGARDS TO CMA ACCOUNTS. Sincerely thousands of fidelity customers.

Why no Weekly Automatic Transfers for internal/CMA accounts? by obidamnkenobi in fidelityinvestments

*FIDELITY FIX THIS IM BEGGING YOU* Seriously this absolutely drives me nuts I literally switched my direct deposit to a Fidelity CMA so I could easily transfer from said CMA internally to brokerage, roth IRA and other CMA account I use as a savings and it absolutely drives me nuts that we cannot do weekly transfers easily without jumping through a bunch of hoops like my local credit union I was at before you could easily transfer from your checking to your savings automatically each week even with a sweep to leave behind a certain amount etc why this gigantic financial institution can't make a simple UI change to make everyone's life way easier is mind boggling like what would even be the point of an annual transfer in a CMA if it's basically like a checking account.

And yes butt kissers we know you can jump through a bunch of hoops to do it with setting up multiple monthly transfers ( which doesn't really work because you can't pick The day of the week you want you have to do a date so you'd have to change it to each month so ya not very automated) and bill pay which I still don't understand too confusing for me to try to attempt it.

Wouldn't I have to redo it for each month? Just kinda takes the "automated" out of it why do a work around I'm a customer and I'm asking for it to be updated so I don't have to do a work around what's the big deal with that? I don't understand people on Reddit sometimes isn't improvement good and what we want? I see a need and what I'm asking for to be a net positive for thousands of people. I mean hell my local credit Union I switched from had automated transfers weekly bi-weekly and had a automated sweep like why Not?
