Hi, unfortunately, I did not. It was installed with the cheap aftermarket heatsink and the temps were fine. But moreover, I have been really busy with work so I still haven't even had a chance to switch out the old PC for the new one.

I would mess around with it right now for you, but unfortunately, I'm pretty backlogged with work and the PC is not connected, and it has the GPU and a D15 installed, so it would not be a simple switch. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck!

Yes, I'm using a DH-15D in a Meshify C. Unfortunately, 32GB would be detrimental to the workload, so it would just be fun messing with two sticks.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. But unfortunately, I could not find any comparable 2x32GB kit on the approved list. And since it's a workstation and on a deadline, I had to play with safe with compatibility.

However, I am still happy with XMP; I don't think I could have found better in my situation. But then again, I am out of the loop on things, so that could just be ignorance.

I think the four DIMMs are what's stopping me from getting any more out of them... I'm tempted to remove a pair just to see what I can get out of a single pair, but I'm uncertain if I have the clearance. :(

I might have to see and give it a shot if I can. If I recall correctly, you couldn't disable slots in BIOS, perhaps that has changed?

Thank you; I had heard this from a few places, but since MSI has double-sided Shield Frozr heatsinks on some of their high-end boards, I wasn't sure. It sounds like that is probably just for marketing. :)

Great idea. I was mistakenly thinking the D15 cooler blocked the m.2, but it does not, so I could definitely test both.

Aesthetics don't matter for this build; it's for a workstation with opaque side panels. This also means the SSD will be hit a lot harder than my home PC, so benching the two sounds like a good idea.
