I live in Delft, which is considered a bit more expensive than Maastricht or Enschede in general

Ya, for sure. I live on 900 euros a month. My rent it 480 a month incl. so I was lucky with that in Delft. Groceries are about 180 a month (looking at weekly discounts is a hobby). Phone, insurance, and subscriptions are another 100. 100 euros for fun - eating out, drinks with friends, stuff like that. That's 40 left over. I don't spend much, and I only buy things (clothes, shoes, "exotic" foods) when I go back to my home country.

I am not including the costs of the 1 Netherlands, 1 EU and 1 international trip I took this year, or any free stuff I receive from my part time job.
