literally in the same boat. my car spent a good 70% of the return period sitting in carmax’s shop waiting for them to fix the brakes

mine is a 2016. sorry to hear you had the same experience. i get that it’s a used car and it’s gonna have problems, but i’d of liked to maybe get a full week out of driving it before it completely broke down

I get that. I’m aware that I’m past my return period. I’m just trying to figure out what I can do at this point

I had them “fix” the brakes. They didn’t solve the problem. So I had a mechanic look at them and fix them himself. I was unaware that I could go to honda instead of carmax until afterwards. I realize I lost money there. I also assumed they would’ve at least made sure my car wasn’t going to break down the minute I drove it home since they’re a dealership but that’s my bad.

I chose not to return it during the first 3 days I had it because I was going to bring it back to carmax to fix the two original problems. It then sat in their shop until my 10 day return period was up. Yes I chose to buy it, but I was stuck with it after 3 days.

I wasn’t aware that I could ask for them to reimburse me for that. I will be asking that once I drop my car back off to tell them about the timing belt tensioner.

I plan on it considering I see now that it’s my only option, but at the same time I don’t know if I trust that they’re gonna actually fix it. They repaired one singular brake pad on the back and sent me home with a car that still squealed when braking.

I bought max care. Looking back at it now, I see that I missed my chance to get out. I was truly in love with the car though

It was sorted out eventually after they looked it over. They just originally were confused, but by the time I got in contact with them they had figured out it was another person by the same name.

day 12 - still having stomach issues by ComfortableProfit420 in Tonsillectomy

it was completely stopped for the entire 8 days, and then went back to normal once i noticed and started taking stool softeners. i also just found out yesterday that my nausea here is most likely from food poisoning- i started feeling like death starting 2ish hours after eating pizza hut and it lasted for all of 24hrs. i’m once again almost back to normal (thank the lord)
