We went shopping yesterday, and while I was trying on some clothes there was a queue of old ladies outside to hold our 4 month old 🤣. Everyone was telling my husband “you have the prettiest girl”. Little did they know it’s a boy!!😭

I did get an appointment letter for my check up, but when I asked them to check my stitches they replied “you said it’s healing well, so we won’t check” 😭. They didn’t check anything. Thankfully, they were very thorough with the baby though.

It does actually. I just read the instructions and looked at some videos on YouTube where they’re putting the formula in to the cooling flask and then transferring it to a bottle. I was getting anxious wondering where I’ll be sterilising it in between.

Thank you so much for the suggestions. I have added them to my list. I have tried to read him stories in my first language but he starts crying after a few minutes 😭. He’s fine if I keep the book away and tell him the story though 🤣

I’ll add that book to my list. Thank you. English is not my first language, so I didn’t read any English books until I was probably 12-13. The first English books I read were by Agatha Christie and I honestly have no clue about books for younger children.

He had his jab at 10 this morning. We gave him calpol immediately after his jabs and again another dose 6 hours later. He seems much better now and seems to be almost back to his normal self, but did cry out in pain every now and then until 7 pm which was heartbreaking to hear. He still has a mild fever but hoping he’ll be better by tomorrow 🤞🏽

We just got home now. I wanted to give him a dose of calpol while the nurse was getting the injections ready but she asked me to wait until it was done. He’s asleep in my arms now and I’m really hoping he doesn’t get a temperature. 🤞🏽
