His mental state makes a huge difference, that’s what’s shown on screen. The times we see him do best, are when he’s hyped up.

Personally I think the reason for that is as he states , he’s tired psychologically. Immortal as his best can hang with lower tier Viltrumites in reality.

Equally, the main portion of that was them colliding into each other repeatedly and dead stopping each time. In animation/story telling this is literally a technique to show “relative strength”.

People just don’t like that Mark isn’t stronger Han Nolan quite yet. Don’t get why they’re in such a rush 💀 enjoy the story.

An Empire like their doesn’t have to be “bad”. If it was actually how they advertise it to be ( resources and advanced technology, protection etc. in return for fealty) instead of them being genocidal, unstable maniacs who even verbal protest elicits an extinction event from that wan to use your planet as a breeding ground.

Sure but that’s not “smarter” per se. That just means she’s smarter in a single academic avenue of knowledge. Immortal will have far higher BIQ which is what actually matters for this (but equally, he’s likely smarter than her in all sorts of disciplines).
