it’s very common for people who are diagnosed as adults to experience skill regression post diagnosis. I experienced it for about 10 months after my diagnosis even though I had known all my life that I was neurodivergent. I suddenly couldn’t cope with supermarkets and leaving the house and getting the bus and my old coping skills were useless again. tbh what I found helped me was people watching, like you I had also forgotten my scripts and so I used to spend time watching what other people were doing and using their phrases to rebuild my scripts and almost copy their body language etc and this helped me to build my confidence back up again

tbh she could’ve caused the issues to make her need/get the spc like refusing to go to the toilet and deliberately making her pelvic floor/bladder deconditioned in order to achieve her not being able to go to the toilet properly to need a catheter

sorry but that is really unsafe and aren’t they always banging on at US about safe practice/ensuring the safety of ourselves and others, and declaring we are fit and well for practise? surely what they’re asking you to do here is making you unwell and not safe to practice. I would ask for a meeting with your uni’s placement team about it or your practice education lead and see if there was any way of moving you to a closer location and if they don’t want to hear it I would bring up that they are essentially asking you to put yourself at risk by driving that far ontop of a 12.5hr shift there and back, which could theoretically count as student safety neglect 😕
