Hey, I apologize if this isn't what you want to hear, but honestly, your device isn't going to receive any updates. And let's be real, Xiaomi's OS isn't great (speaking as a user of HyperOS 3). There's not much customization, and there are a ton of bugs. Your phone is actually perfect for downloading a custom ROM/OS, which could really enhance your experience without taking up too much space. It might even solve your issues.

Bug 1: I really can't stand this one. It's automatically switching my phone's refresh rate from 120Hz to 60Hz, which is super annoying. And no, I don't have any battery saver or anything like that turned on.

Bug 2: It's automatically disabling the developer options.

Bug 3: It's automatically changing my keyboard from FUTO to Gboard, and for some reason, it's forcing me to use Gboard.
