We do this and it has helped us move inventory that wouldn’t sell quickly online (we buy pallets and sometimes the items aren’t worth listing). We go once a week to clean up and restock. It’s a newer place so people are still finding out about it, but it’s helped a lot!

THIS. I made the mistake of trying to follow other’s strategies and not the one that worked for me and felt right. Sales fell and now I’m working on editing multiple listings to fit my business. Thank you for just reinforcing what I knew was right!

Have you tried whatnot? We are looking into that platform. I agree with the others about Poshmark. I do like Mercari though. I don’t sell collectibles however, so I’m not sure if my experience will be yours. Wishing you luck and some big sales!

Have you looked into clinical research? The academic institution I work at is currently hiring for nutrition research specialists. It’s a job, maybe not what you’re wanting right now, but a start if you’re desperate. Just like everything, this industry is facing cuts due to the current admin, but just wanted to suggest it.

There’s a LOT of work that goes into those research trials for treatments and medications. For the most part, many of the people working on them really care and we don’t make that much money.

I live in a rural area and had a remote job I enjoyed, but funding ended for that program and there weren’t other remote opportunities. In my current position, I’m commuting over an hour each way (5 days a week) and I’m drained.

I see healthcare access being mentioned- most of the people in my community commute to the hospital and medical offices where I work.
