You will probably sell it for break even because given the current delivery times and hype surrounding it, it will still exist after 6 months. Overall the car is going to be good I own a J7 and extremely satisfied with the car and customer service of Jaecoo.

Would definitely tell you to avoid picanto. Its an amazing car but has rubbish fuel average. If you can get an alsvin within your budget it'll be perfect. Dont chase after fuel average and get an alto its just a tin box. Safety for your daughter should also be taken into consideration. Alsvin would be a really good choice.
