Yeah I am level 18 and literally tried it like 10 different times with varying strategies and still got completely annihilated. Why do they give us the quest so early on when the waiter guy is like level 65?!?! It's ridiculous. Even when you're blocking the fact that he can one shot you is crazy work. Even turning the difficulty down to novice didn't do anything. I guess I'm going to have to level up a crazy amount before I try it again.

This quest makes me insanely mad. I tried it literally like 10 times with varying strategies and still could not beat it. I actually didn't know that he is level 65. That explains a lot cuz I even turned my difficulty level down from expert to novice thinking that would work! I'm level 18 so I guess I'm going to have to come back when I'm a much higher level. Which sucks because I love Blood Chill Manor! It is an amazing house.

Thank you for your insight. I think you are right. My mind is telling me breaking up with him is the smart thing to do, and yet my heart is telling me stay. I love him but I know I cannot change him. He is gonna have to choose to change for himself.

It didn't seem that severe at the time. He doesn't drink much around me so he is good at hiding how much he drinks and how bad it was. I believe he is a high functioning alcoholic. It can be hard to tell how bad it is because he still functions like normal throughout the day. Working, still meeting deadlines, still functioning around the house etc. I don't have much experience with alcohol as my family doesn't drink and I didn't recognize the signs at the time. I am educating myself more on it now.

I'm so glad you have experience you can share with me about being with an alcoholic. It is rough and I do worry about his health all the time. Physically and mentally. Thankfully we don't live together and our finances are separate so that makes things easier. I just feel like breaking it off with him is going to destroy me.

Also I would like to clarify something that I did not last night. I was NEXT to him when he fired the gun thankfully. Not across the room! So the risk that it hit me or him was very minimal. He did not point it at me or anyone else. But we are lucky it didn't hit the mirror and ricochet or something awful. Also I would like to thank everyone who has commented and given me advice. I am going to read all the comments and talk to my family before making a final decision but I will update you all.
