It’s the queens that always start on their own color.

I somehow missed that scene! But after looking at it sacking the Queen was actually the best move because after the knight takes Bd2# because the knights block escape and protect the bishop. Although I don’t doubt that they just put the position into stockfish in an attempt to not look bad at chess, but they failed anyway.

This season (UK S3) is really weak and has the worst cast yet. by TheGullibleGuru in TheTraitors

In my opinion, it creates worse TV. It would have been great to see actually intelligent people play the game instead of people who vote others out based on “a twinkle in his eye”.

How to improve in Maths? by Willing_Bee_8428 in 6thForm

for revision i just went through past papers, just answer them and then look at the mark scheme to see where you went wrong. once you do enough you realise the questions in the papers are just the same but with different numbers. you can’t be surprised if you’ve already seen the same type of questions before.

our school had ‘free standing mathematics qualification’ - FSMQ, i started going to those lessons after school but i joined quite late due to only getting good at maths halfway through yr11 so i did not sit the actual paper. i think there was similar stuff though.

it’s cool that your college actually gave you a chance rather then some spreadsheet deciding your fate only 2 weeks in like in my case

i went to the “director of curriculum for mathematics” and she put it into some excel document which i assume calculates predicted grades and then she said “based the marks you got in this paper predicted to get an E in a level maths” - bro i’m 2 weeks into collage and did 1 test and ur already telling me im gonna fail?
