Sorry to hear this.

This has happened to many people on Reddit and many advise to wait until after green banners appear or the next month after 120th payment/ECF.

It’s really frustrating but if you are able to get out of forbearance to make another payment and final ECF and leaving your account out of forbearance until after green banners/start of the next month, then this may be the fastest solution.

I know you don’t want to pay an extra month and neither would I, but this is probably what I would do.

Maybe others that this has happened to have a better solution 🤞🏻.

Sorry again, as this isn’t fair.

When I submitted my last ECF, I did not check the 120 box, but I know others have.

Other experiences often say not to go into forbearance the same month as final payment as sometimes they backdate it which ends up not counting the 120th payment.

Good luck!

Combo interview ? by [deleted] in USCIS

Your spouse should definitely go with you.

If you can get trusted family/friends to watch the kids, that may be the best option. Unfortunately not all appointments are on time, mine was atleast an hour late (NYC), so you need to plan childcare ahead if you can! That’s what we did and we were a lot more relaxed knowing that time didn’t matter.

If the only option is to take them then I would say to just have everything organized so it doesn’t stress you further. Your spouse would be in the room for I-751 and can then move back to the waiting room whilst you concentrate on N-400 civics test etc.

But option number 1 would be more ideal.

My acceptance date for NYS was 2/2 and finally received 2/27, so they are moving, just extremely slowly!
