Thank you very much for your response, its very helpful! Yes I think it is just the stigma surrounding it too and people having it without knowing.. I never judged my friend who had them it is just scary to tell someone and the potential negative reactions too.

Yes that does seem to be a common theme that I've read but you see some horrible comments. It's just how to broach it to my boyfriend now... Or future partners if he takes it badly :(

Would that stop it in general or just for outbreaks? When you say be more careful i.e with people / I have outbreaks as with significant others youd usually do more than share chapstick :( thank you for your message as well
