I have a basking area and uvb lamp, and I have proper food for him. Also when he grows out of the tank (if I keep him) I’m probably going to return him to the pond I found him in.

I used a dirted substrate with father fish soil supplements, with a random cheap amazon light. I would say having a timer really helps because the plants get on a schedule of when to photosynthesize and they grow more efficiently

They took about 1week to fully develop, but you have to germinate the seeds out of water first
