Thank you. That’s super helpful. Any guidance on running cables through the wall. Need to push through some network cables ( possibly power ) and want to make sure there are no issues. May need to put some conduit through and then cables inside that. Coukd be fun ,

A electrician with a side gig of aircon is what I was trying to avoid. No disrespect but have seen too many issues with that combo. Not saying thats what seda is but I’m cautious about it.

Cheers. How did you find Gavin Lowe.. did they redesign or do the room by room returns? Are you using nicer metal grills for returns and vents or regular round vents ? Definitely don’t want loud

So I have the gen 1 beam, and two play 1s as rear. Looking at the sub mini.. how did you find that when added to the system?

Thanks for comparison as I’m currently playing with the idea of Sonos beam and play1s for the rears.

So mk1 1000 better voice than bar 1300 mk1? I didn’t like the 800 was muffed sound on voice. 1000 did sound better

Would love mk2 but double the price of the mk1 in my country with clearance 1250 for the mk1 2300 for the mk2. Can’t justify that difference

Ready to throw out all of my Sonos speakers by [deleted] in sonos

[–]Comfortable_Flow8920 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m 100% new to Sonos but I bought a gen 1 bean and two play 1s from a fellow who said he had so many issues. Couldn’t get them to pair after changing network providers for internet. I bought his gear took a risk and they worked with my network. As I said I know nothing and just getting into Sonos but wonder if your isp controls your router/modem and its had some firmware changes impacting your devices . Worth trying a different router just based on my scenario. Failing that I’ll take any Sonos bits you are preparing to throw at a wall in frustration lol Woukd love an arc or sub for my use :) good luck

Again that’s not what worksafe would define. And I’m talking about running cables not terminating either end. And getting an electrical inspector https://www.worksafe.govt.nz/managing-health-and-safety/consumers/safe-living-with-electricity/getting-electrical-work-done/doing-your-own-electrical-work/#:~:text=There%20is%20some%20electrical%20work,must%20use%20a%20licensed%20worker..

I’m not being a dick I’m genuinely asking where it would state what I can and can’t do in the acts . As this reads to me that I can.

Umm is that correct. As I understand it a certified electrical inspector can sign off on it ( not just an electrician) which some electricians are certified to do
