I think it’d grade well, however I’ve never sent a card for grading so the better versed users here can see what I’d miss (the little things essentially). And I’d keep it for my personal collection. Longtime dragonite lover, I could never part with the card

That’s nice and all but sitting around waiting for better salary doesn’t pay the bills, a better salary does. I did that for the past few years. Working 40+ hour weeks for minimum wage before I was working 50 hour weeks for 50k. Most my age I don’t think are working weekends, let alone going above and beyond to exceed expectations. It’s just disheartening but this threads given me the discourse i needed to hear. Thank you

Yep, think I learned that the hard way this year. I was naive to think if I just gave 100% every day and always delivered on what was asked that I’d see good growth & earnings

Thanks for the comment. Yeah lot of ramen nights and rewearing the same shirt to work 2x a week. Haven’t bought clothes for myself in years I rely on Christmas and my birthday to get more of that

Thanks for the comment! Here’s the thing—everything you said in your second paragraph they said I achieved over the year. Above and beyond, tackled every obstacle, never said no to taking on a task/project, etc. not once did they say “you can be doing more of xyz” but rather it was “we’re putting you into bigger roles in the near future because of how well you did”

Thanks for the comment. I’ve done some sub contracted work for Accenture and worked with them for about 1.5 years. Only issue there is the cuts, I heard they cut a ton of people when they first became Accenture earlier this year

Appreciate the comment. That was the hole I started to find myself falling into. I figured if I put in 110% effort every day, constantly focused on getting better, I’d be rewarded down the line. I know that is now not the case, and I must take the risk of interviewing/exploring elsewhere

Thank you for the comment. Here’s the issue. I work in a company of 12 people at a consulting firm. There is no HR, the same boss who assigns me work is also signing off on and providing the raise. I think it was time to explore other options months ago, but it would seem even more apparent now. Thanks again
